MODULE 1 : "SHORT CIRCUIT STUDIES"
Goals: The purpose is to understand the concepts relating to:
Short-circuit and to study and calculate the short-circuit currents for the following types of faults: three-phase, phase to ground, two-phase and arcing faults in electrical industrial installations
(HV / MV / LV)
Equipment Evaluationg – Short Circuit Current Calculation for suitability of equipment (ANSI Short, Short IEC 909).
Teaching Division:
Theory: 1 day and half (12 hours)
Practice: Half a day (4 hours)
(development and software modeling and short circuit simulation)
Considerations: 16 class hours, starting at 08:00 and end at 18:00.
Remark: Last day demo software will have to be installed in the notebook´s participant or leased by him.
Investment: R$ 1.200,00 per participant
Combo: Module 1 + Module 2 = R$ 2.000,00 (paid up to 4 installments)
Included Coffee Break, Lunch, textbook and certificate.

MODULE 2 : PROTECTION, COORDINATION AND SELECTIVITY FOR ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIAL POWER SYSTEMS
Prerequisite:
Have done the 1st module or have done any previous EngePower´s Short Circuit and Protection Trainning.
Goals:
Understanding CTs and PTs, Rogowski Coils. Main Protective Devices. Cable Protection, Capacitor Bank Protection, Busbar Protection, Transformer Protection, Generator Protection, Motor Protection, Semiconductor Converter Protection. Learn how to coordinate and make selective circuit breakers, fuses, relays, etc. AmpMetter, Chronological, Logic and Conventional Selectivity.
Teaching Division:
Theory: 1 day and a half = 12 Class-hours
Practice: Half a day = 4 Class-hours (development of exercises and software modeling and TCC execution).
Considerations: 16 class-hours
Remark: Last day demo software will have to be installed in the notebook´s participant or leased by him.
